Installation
Prerequisites
Before installing BerryCore, ensure you have:
- A Blackberry device running OS 10
- Basic familiarity with terminal commands
- Patience for the initial setup process

Supported Devices
BerryCore works on Blackberry OS 10 devices, including:
- Blackberry Classic
- Blackberry Q10
- Blackberry Q5
- Other BBOS 10 devices with physical keyboards
What Gets Installed
BerryCore provides:
- POSIX-compliant shell environment
- Core CLI utilities (ls, grep, sed, awk, etc.)
- Text editors (vim, nano)
- Network tools (ssh, curl, wget)
- Development tools (gcc, python, git)
- TUI applications
Post-Installation
Once installed, you’ll have access to term49 (or term48), which serves as your gateway to the terminal environment. From here, you can install additional packages and configure your system.
